Art, music, drag, workshops, and thousands of guests—all of it runs on the energy of a dedicated behind-the-scenes team. If you’re organized, upbeat, and ready to spend a day surrounded by queer creativity, we want to hear from you!
Key Details
Contract status: All positions are 1099 independent contractors.
Availability:
Friday, October 10 — afternoon & evening for load-in and training
Saturday, October 11 — 8 AM – 8 PM festival day (Not all jobs require you to work the entire day, but you should be available).
Compensation: Flat-rate pay; role-specific offers and expectations go out the week of August 18.

Current Openings
Stage Managers / Techs
Be the point person at one of our stages, liaise with performers, oversee quick set-ups and tear-downs between acts, and—if you have the chops—run a basic sound board. You’ll keep the show on schedule and flag any issues directly to festival directors.
Student Gallery Monitor
Help transform a classroom into a pop-up gallery featuring work from Upstate NY teen and college artists. Duties include Friday check-in and hanging of art, operating a point-of-sale system, logging each sale, and minding the space during festival hours. Two to three positions available.
Workshop Room Door Monitor
Own the flow of our workshop & demo room: scan pre-sale tickets, sell walk-up spots, track headcounts, and flip the space between sessions so every class starts on time.
Guest Services Team Member
You’re the friendly face guests, vendors, and performers turn to first. Answer questions, manage signage, radio updates to managers, and lend a hand with light set-up or tear-down tasks as needed. Ensure a smooth, tidy and well-maintained festival for everyone!
